Letter of Support

Although I am not a resident of the City of Brockton, I am a taxpayer of the City. I have been at odds over the water & Sewer issue for the last 10 years paying quarterly bills as submitted on a timely manner for the past 25 years. In 2009 I received a bill for $22,000.00 dating back to 2002 and have tried in vein to resolve the water meter issues. I hired the services of a Professional Engineer and an Attorney at great expense to resolve the issues. I have appealed my 8 year water bills to the State Tax Appellate Board and awaiting my hearing.

The reason I write this letter is to inform the voters of Brockton that doing business as usual needs to change in your city. It is unconscionable that the City under the guidance of your Finance Director allowed meters to remain inoperable for 10 years which deprived the residents of millions of dollars.
Brockton needs a new face and a different attitude towards the Residence. NO ONE HAS BEEN ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE LOSSES TO THE TAXPAYERS. WE NEED TO LET CITY HALL KNOW "THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE". IT'S YOUR TURN TO BRING CHANGE THE CITY AND VOTE FOR A BUSINESS MAN THAT RELATES TO THE RESIDENCES NEEDS". NOT POLITICS AS USUAL".

PLEASE VOTE FOR RONALD MATTA AS YOUR NEXT MAYOR. YOU WILL BE VOTING FOR A NEW BROCKTON, AND CHANGES THAT ARE NEEDED.

Your current Mayor is a good person, but we need someone that has the ability to make difficult decisions in these times.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

THANKS
